Mission and Vision

“Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation [.…]”

Nelson Mandela, 1994

Mission: Empowerment through education

At BRAVE, we believe education is a powerful force for change globally. It is also through education that we are able to change the narrative around the next generation of female leaders in our society. Access to education empowers people, it creates knowledge, breaks down barriers to opportunity and evidently builds confidence. It is the pathway to a better future, socially and economically for women and society at large. Education is a key part of a woman’s growth in three (3) ways:

1. Education empowers women with knowledge, critical thinking skills and digital awareness.

2. Education alleviates women from extreme poverty.

3. Education improves women's life expectancy.

Vision: “Talent is universal; but opportunity is not.” Rye Barcott, 2011

Lack of opportunity limits people’s ability and potential to greatness and for this, we believe education plays a key role. Therefore, our vision is to be an opportunity hub and platform for young Ghanaian women to realise their unlimited potential.
